One month to Christmas Eve. YAY!
That reminded me of this time of the year when I was in Brasil. It is always burning hot in Rio by november, so Christmas has a complete different feeling. It usually rains on christmas night (as a kid I used to say it was our "liquid snow"), sometimes the neighbours - who never took notice of you during the year - would come to your house to wish you a happy christmas - and obviously steal a bit of your supper. :) That's the hypocrite brazilian friendliness.
I *loved* to go to Rua da Alfândega (see little pic below) to do the Christmas shopping. The malls were always crowded and utterly expensive, while Rua da Alfândega had that thriftshop feeling that I loved. And the best prices ever!
Last thing, Blythe family pic so far! (still waiting for my Kozy and Rouge Noir)
