actually it's still the old fireplace. i painted it white (it used to be cream), bought a new (and better) mirror and a fire basket (that can be lit up).

those dolls are by heidi ott, and, altough a tad expensive (average price £15, cheaper for children/toddlers) I wouldn't have any other for my dollhouse. they'are made of plastic instead of ceramic (so won't break easily), have much cuter and detailed faces, hands and features and the adult ones are actually ball jointed and entirely posable.
