Snow.

It started a while ago and doesn't look like it's gonna stop so soon.

Not enough to cover the ground, I fear - that's what they call "wintery showers" here, these short episodes of light snow. But anyway, it's lovely to be able to see such a thing from my window. Also, my vintage Skipper arrived. I dressed her first in a cheap Takara Licca Alice dress:

She has a lovely hair colour, though it's missing a few plugs (which you'd probably expect on a 1963 "played with" dollie).

Now she is wearing a pink vintage Skipper dress, a pair of Dollheart blue maryjanes and feeling pretty and loved.

I got my first, extra-cheap eyes in the mail on wednesday. Pretty fast service and shipping. They charged me 10 dollars to ship 3 pairs of plastic eyes and 3 pairs of lashes, but if you consider that the TOTAL value (including shipping) was 23 bucks, it was hardly a bad deal.

I ordered two 16mm (green and brown) and one 14mm (blue) that turned out to be very small. Agnes looked simply beautiful with the brown ones, but I didn't like the green on her. Isobel looked lovely with both. So I gave her the green eyes for now. It took me some time to figure out how to deal with the putty, but I think they look nice on her:
